Sigma700 Tensiometer
The Sigma 700 is a complete, ready to use tensiometer, employing the latest advances in precision microbalance technology. Special attention has been paid to the ergonomic and user-friendly design. The measuring unit is the main building block of the system that can be tailored to meet your exact needs.
When you have pinpointed what you want to measure, and any special conditions that should be considered (temperature/controlled atmosphere etc.), you just need to choose which of the software modules and accessories are required. Accessory modules are easily mounted into the Measuring Unit and plug-and-play software modules can be operated by anyone with WindowsTM experience. Once the system requirements have been decided, KSV will assemble and calibrate the Sigma 700 so that it is ready to use immediately upon arrival.
Because of its wide weight range and autocalibrating microbalance, the Sigma 700 is well suited for DCA measurements of large and heavy solid and powder samples. It can run two dispensers simultaneously for CMC measurements, allowing a full CMC curve to be obtained in one measurement. Full PC control over all system functions makes it possible to carry out long measurements without operator intervention during the test & saving time and freeing the operator to concentrate on other tasks.
