Reference orders for KSV PMI 550 from Brazil.
The latest order concerns a KSV PMI 550, a novel scientific instrument based on infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy with polarization module. The product is intended for the characterization of nanoscale films and molecular orientation within such films. The KSV PMI 500 enables easy and real time monitoring of chemical reactions in nanometer scale molecule structures.
The customer is Dr. Luciano Caseli, professor in the "Universidade Federal de São Paulo - UNIFESP" (Federal University of Sao Paulo). "I intend to use the PM-IRRAS mainly to study interaction between biological relevant molecules in the subphase with Langmguir monolayers of lipids. This will be important for studies on mimicking biointerfaces and for fabricating biosensors based on enzymes", says Prof. Caseli.
This order was preceded with another almost similar order less than a month earlier from the Prof. Osvaldo N. Oliveira, Jr., Instituto de Física de São Carlos, Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil.
