| The latest Surface Examiner (Issue 1/2008) is a special issue devoted
to Monolayer Science. SPR-Navi is introduced as a flexible and powerful
generational jump in SPR measurement technology. It is perfectly suited
for the applications researcher who wants to perform SPR analyses on
monolayers or other thin layers on solid surfaces. KSV is currently
running a series of workshops in collaboration with Nima and Nanofilm,
focusing on what is happening at the cutting edge of Monolayer
research. Among the exciting new techniques available, are interfacial
IR-analysis with PMI-550, and interfacial rheological determination
with ISR 400. You will find the story behind PMI-550 inside the
newsletter. The fascinating and rapidly expanding area of interfacial
rheology, particularly with respect to emulsion and foam stability is
