March 6, 2008
KSV Instruments in collaboration with Nima and Nanofilm, will run a series of workshops entitled "Trends and frontiers in nanoscale film design and analysis" – throughout the world, starting with an inaugural workshop in Coventry in March, followed by North America and Europe in the Summer, and continuing in Asia in the Fall. The workshops will consist of whole day seminars, with guest speakers from each company and leading academic institutions describing the exciting advances in technology and scientific knowledge made in recent years. The focus will be on monolayers at fluid and solid interfaces, illustrating how techniques such as PM-IRRAS, interfacial shear rheometry, imaging ellipsometry and Brewster angle microscopy can provide a whole new dimension of understanding of these fascinating and important systems.Further information and registration is available at www.monolayerscience.com.
