KSV Minimicro is the next generation miniaturized minitrough system that has been designed to meet the requirements of very small size, very small subphase volumes, modularity and portability.

The very flexible design combined with the key features of all KSV LB systems makes the Minimicro a very useful and powerful tool for a wide range of studies with monolayers, nanotechnology, biotechnology, molecular electronics, pharmaceuticals, etc.

The Minimicro Series is available in three basic modular configurations, however the modularity of the Minimicro allows upgrade at any time. KSV also provides customized troughs for tailoring the instrument for a wide range of special applications.

KSV Minimicro

  • Symmetric compression of the monolayer by two inter-linked surface barriers.
  • Leak proof hydrophilic barriers.
  • Form sintered single piece, non-porous PTFE trough.
  • Subphase temperature control facilitated by aluminum heat/cool base plate operated by external circulating water bath (sold separately).
  • Super-sensitive film balance with Platinum Wilhelmy plate and 100 paper plates and a hook for the paper plates.
