Application Notes

The application notes in the table below describes the basic ideas for different methods available from KSV to determine surface and interfacial tensions of liquids, the wettability of solid substrates, fibers, powders & porous solids. The application areas of surface tension and contact angles are also briefly described. Additionally, a general introduction to Langmuir and Langmuir-Blodgett films is available.

The main idea of these application notes is to give the basic concepts to the users who are not really acquainted or that are otherwise interested in these methods and measuring equipments (tensiometry, goniometry and L and LB films).
